Telugu Bhuvanam is a small labour of love — a free, ad-free place to help children read, hear and play with Telugu, starting from the very first letters, words and sounds.

The story behind it

Hi, I'm Purushotham Pamuluru. I grew up in Buranpur, a small village in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh. Today I live in Sydney, Australia, where I work as a software engineer.

I started Telugu Bhuvanam for my children: a simple, joyful way to learn our mother tongue from across the world, so they can recognise the letters, build words, and hear how Telugu truly sounds.

What began as a way to teach my own children grew into something I wanted to share with every Telugu family raising kids away from home — and with anyone, of any age, who wants to discover the language. It will always stay free and open to all.
